The Hattersley Centre, Ormskirk

Pendle Bracken Ltd, Bracken's joint venture company with Barnfield Construction  purchased the former Hattersley's property in Ormskirk, Lancashire comprising 14 acres.

Following the sale of  the 86,000 sq ft warehouse building to local company Atkinson & Kirby, Pendle Bracken secured outline planning consent for a 79,500 sq ft mixed retail and trade counter development on the remianing 10 acres.

The project commenced in April 2007 and completed in February 2008. This comprises a 41,500 sq ft retail block partially pre-let to Focus DIY and Halfords and 38,000 sq ft of trade counter units let as follows; a 15,000 sq ft unit to Jewson, an 8,400 sq ft unit to Howdens Joinery, a 3,000 sq ft unit to Travis Perkins, and a 3,500 sq ft unit to Plumbase. An 8,400 sq ft unit has been sold to Magnet.
